Application of Vibration Absorbers in Floating Raft System

摘要

Abstract

To improve the isolation performance of the floating raft system under combined excitation, different vibration absorbers were applied. The dynamic models of the floating raft system with dynamic vibration absorbers (DVAs), adaptive vibration absorbers (AVAs) or active-adaptive vibration absorbers (AAVAs) were established respectively by assembling the mobility matrices of subsystems. Effects of the vibration absorbers on power flow transmission characteristics of the coupled system were investigated under the single-frequency excitation. The power flow transmission characteristics of floating raft with AVAs under the multi-frequency excitation were studied. Taking the power flow transmitting into the foundation as the target function, the vibration reduction effect of the floating raft with AAVAs was studied. Numerical simulation results show that the vibration absorbers have good effects of vibration reduction in low frequency range. The types and installation of the vibration absorbers have different suppression effects on the power flow transmitting into the foundation.
