Abstract
Flanged hydraulic coupling is an important junction of the power transmission system and is being widely used in modem naval shafting system. However, only few researches on its anti-shock performance have been done. In this paper, a finite element model of a flanged hydraulic coupling was built based on the nonlinear contact theory. Distribution of the contact stress was obtained in the working condition of the maximum torque. Furthermore, based on modern impact theory, the anti-shock performance of the coupling was studied in both frequency domain and time domain. The stress distribution was obtained from the anti-shock simulation. The results indicate that the design of the flanged hydraulic coupling can meet the requirement of the anti-shock performance. This work provides a database for anti-shock design and evaluation of ship’s devices.关键词
