Effect of Glucocorticoid on Minimal Change Nephritic Syndrome of Elderly

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of glucocorticoid (GC) on the minimal change(MC) nephritic syndrome(NS) of elderly.Methods:An open, contrasted study was conducted.10 cases with NS of MS of elderly were divided into two groups,the one was treated with conventional therapy and the other with a large dose of prednisone based on conventional way.Results:The total number of entirely remission was 7 cases (70%)within two months and 10 cases (100%) within 12 months after treatment in prednisone group.Compare with 2 cases (20%) and 5 cases (50%) in control group,the difference of entirely remission rate was statistically significant.Conclusion:Prednisone is effective on the NS of MS of elderly.关键词
