摘要
Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the cause of partial seizures misdiagnosed as mental illness.Method:Retrospective analysis was performed among 16 cases with partial seizures which be misdiagnosis as mental illness from 2006 to 2011 in our hospitalized or consultation patients.Result:We found that simple partial seizure in 10 cases and complex partial seizures in 6 cases were misdiagnosed.Conclusion:The following reasons for misdiagnosis were inferred:partial seizures has diverse clinical manifestations;The epileptogenic zone not only tending to induce psychiatric symptoms but also lead to physical ailment manifested;so easily to be confused with each other.To grasp the clinical manifestations of partial seizure,combined the patients experienced signs and symptoms and their case history,onset age,relevant auxiliary examinations,especially AEEG,can reduce the misdiagnosis.关键词
