摘要
Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of protection of the tongue effect in the intraoral stents in head and neck radiotherapy. Method:Electronic databases of Embase,PubMed and Google scholar in English and CNKI,ChinaInfo,VIP in Chinese were searched, and the randomized controlled trials about Intraoral stent in head and neck cancer radiotherapy were selected.Meta analysis were performed by using RevMan 5.2 software.Result:Five RCTs involving 203 patients were included Meta analysis. Results of Meta analyses showed that:Intraoral Stents reduced the average tongue body exposure dose in head and neck radiation therapy[MD=-11.89,95%CI=(-15.48,-8.30),P<0.00001],reduced the taste damage rate[OR=0.12,95%CI=0.05,0.28,P<0.00001],and reduced the tongue mucosa toxicity reaction rate[OR=0.09,95%CI=(0.02,0.37),P=0.00009], The differences were statistically significant. Conclusion:Intraoral stent in head and neck radiotherapy can effectively protect the tongue body tissue, based on the research limitations and possible bias,a study of large sample of need more rigorous reasoning.关键词
