Comparison of Professional Standards for Secondary Vocational Education Teachers between China and America
摘要
Abstract
This paper compared deeply and systematically the content framework and concrete contents of the professional standards for secondary vocational teachers between China and America. By comparative study, the inspiration of completing the professional standards for vocational teachers of China as well as implementing the "professional standards for teachers of secondary vocational schools (Trial)" from the standards for secondary vocational teachers of America can be concluded as: firstly, establish the concept of inclusive education, i.e. equally treat each student, encourage students to actively participate in education, implement individualized teaching and advocate the concept of co-operative education; secondly, place weight on industrial and vocational knowledge; lastly, pay attention to the professional skills and development and the capability of environment creation, improve the abilities for evaluation and reflection of teaching.关键词
