摘要

Abstract

The time division multiplexing service carried by packet transmission network (PTN), has significant stochastic characteristic. When this kind of service is used for data transmission of line longitudinal differential protection, it is necessary to make the comprehensive analysis on service delay and channel asymmetry. By analyzing the mechanism of delay time, a delay model including deterministic component and stochastic component is established. Considering Ethernet frame size, bandwidth usage and path hops, the numerical simulation method for stochastic delay of data packets is given. This method can be used to study on time delay distribution characteristics under different conditions. Combined with the communication requirements of line longitudinal differential protection, the adaptability of time division multiplexing service carried by PTN is analyzed quantitatively. The research results have reference value for engineering.
