摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the mechanism of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate on the protection of liver damage after traumatic brain injury( TBI) .Methods The rats with liver damage after TBI were injected magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate intraperitoneally one day after, 30 mg /kg, one time every day for 5 days.And the serum level of ALT and AST were determined, the level of serum tumor necrosis factor-α( TNF-α) was determined by ELISA, the level of TNF-αmRNA in liver was determined by real-time PCR and the expression of nuclear transcription factors-kappa B ( NF-κB) in liver was determined by Western-Blot.Results The level of serum ALT/AST in the rats which were injected magnesium isoglycyrrhizinatewere higher than the normal rats, the level of TNF-αin blood and liver and the expression of NF-κB in liver of the rats with magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate were more reduced significantly than those without magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate injection.Conclusion Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate can reduce the level of TNF-αby NF-κB pathway in order to protect the liver function.
