Abstract
A network capacity analytic model based on the propagation characteristics of underwater acoustic channel and structure features of cluster-based underwater acoustic sensor network is presented in this paper.On the basis of SINR,the success probability,and throughput density are defined accordingly.The computer simulation analysis is carried on the interference limited network under two different channel allocation methods:the randomly selecting way and the stationary dividing way by nodes’IDs.The results show that under a given network monitoring scope, there is always an optimal network node density which can result in the maximum capacity.The influence of the network’s frequency,the node’s emission power and the size of the cluster structure on network capacity is also studied in this paper.The simulation results verify the validity of the theoretical analysis,and can provide some reference for the application design of the cluster-based underwater acoustic sensor networks.关键词
