摘要

Abstract

Simultaneous saccharification and fermentation ( SSF) of alkali⁃pretreated corncob to fumaric acid by Rhizopus oryzae was optimized. The optimal conditions were as follow:substrate loading 50 g/L, ammonium sulfate 0�71 g/L,cellulase dosage 20 FPIU/g cellulose,calcium carbonate 30 g/L,inoculum 10%(V/V),and loading volume 50 mL. Simultaneous saccharification and fermentation(SSF) of alkali⁃pretreated corncob to fumaric acid was compared to direct fermentation of glucose. Under the optimal conditions, process of SSF by Rhizopus oryzae could produce 13�78 g/L fumaric acid, while direct fermentation only obtained 6�21 g/L fumaric acid using glucose as the carbon source.
