Abstract
ObjectiveTo compare the effect of CO2 laser and conventional laryngoscope operation in the treatment of polyp of vocal cord.MethodRetrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 184 patients with polyp of vocal cord who were treated in our hospital from March 2010 to May 2013, they were divided into laser group (treated with CO2 laser, 86 cases) and conventional group (treated with conventional laryngoscope operation, 98 cases), treatment effect between the two groups were compared.ResultThe general cure rate and acoustic indexes between the two groups were not signiifcantly different (P>0.05). After operation, the recovery time of vocal cords in laser group was longer than conventional group, and the effect of complex polyp of vocal cord in laser group was better than conventional group (P<0.05).ConclusionThe clinical effect of polyp of vocal cord treated with CO2 laser is the same as conventional laryngoscope operation, then we should combine the physical truth of patients to choose a more scientiifc method.关键词
