Abstract
Gas6 is an important member of the growth arrest-specific protein family. It is proved that Gas6 and its related receptors are widely involved in growth, proliferation, differentiation, mi-gration, adherence and apoptosis of various types of cells. Relevant studies show that serum concen-trations of Gas6 vary significantly in patients with different diseases, such as diabetes, obesity, a-dult still's disease, and systemic lupus erythematosus ( SLE) . In addition, Gas6 has been found expressed with cell specificity and cell cycle specificity in many different tissues, including heart, kidneys, ovaries, and testes. The specific expression of Gas6 in testicular Sertoli cells of different animal species indicates that Gas6 is closely related to the efficiency of spermatogenesis. This paper aimed to examine the expression levels of Gas6 in testicular Sertoli cells at the normal physiological and different pathological conditions, in an attempt to delve into the molecular mechanisms of Gas6 in testicular Sertoli cells and provide clues for further researches and clinical applications.关键词
