摘要

Abstract

A study on handling qualities of helicopter-slung-load system in hover was performed on the UH-60 helicopter. Trim calculation and stability analysis of the model were conducted, and the agreement between the computational results and the reference data indicates that the model is effective. The effects of load mass, cable length and rope flexibility on handling qualities of longitudinal and lateral helicopter motion in hover were studied. Results showed: the greater load mass, the lower lateral handling qualities of the system is;the relative influence of cable length is negligible;the introduction of rope flexibility will debase handling qualities of the system and increase the probability of pilot induced oscillation.
