摘要

Abstract

With the consideration of the fact that the sensor nodes are equipped with limited battery power,a new energy aware opportunistic routing was proposed for prolong the network lifetime.It exploits a new routing metric,which jointly considers link quality and energy.Also,a forwarding candidate selection method was proposed and the cooperation between the nodes which are in candidate set was presented.The simulation results evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme-energy aware/expected transmission count (ETX)opportunistic routing (ETOE ).It is shown that the ETOE can obtain much better results compared with the traditional opportunistic routing.
