Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of Ki-67 in triple negative breast cancer tissues and its relation-ship with prognosis .Methods From January 2009 to December 2010 , clinical data and follow-up data of 96 triple negative breast cancer patients and 540 patients with non-triple negative breast cancer were retrospectively analyzed .The relationship between Ki-67 expression and other clinicopathologic factors were observed .The disease free survival ( DFS) rate and overall survival ( OS) were calculated by Kaplan-Meier, the relationship between Ki-67 and prognosis were analyzed by Logrank .Re-sults Ninety-six cases of triple negative breast cancer had Ki-67 positive expression in 78 cases (81.3%), 540 cases of non-triple negative breast cancer had Ki-67 positive expression in 381 cases ( 70 .6%) , the difference was statistical signifi-cance (χ2 =4.641, P =0.031).Ki-67 expression were correlated with histological grade and lymph node metastasis (χ2 =5.270,χ2 =6.214, P =0.022, P =0.013).Triple negative breast cancer patients'5 year DFS were 69.8%, OS 80.2%. Ki-67 positive expression group's 5-year DFS and OS were lower than that of Ki-67 negative expression group (66.7% vs. 83.3%, 78.2%vs.88.9%), but the differences were not statistical significance (χ2 =2.199,χ2 =1.087, P =0.138, P =0.297).Conclusion Positive rate of Ki-67 in triple negative breast cancer is high , it can be used for identifying malig-nancy triple negative breast cancer .But the effect for prognosis needs to be further studied .关键词
