Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of hydrogen inhalation on sepsis induced myocardial injury in rats.Method:48 Sprague-Dawley male rats were randomly divided into 4 groups with a random number table,12 cases in each group:sham operation group(SH group),CLP group,1%H2 group and 2%H2 group.The rats model of sepsis were induced by ligation and puncture of the appendix, and the SH group was not ligation and puncture of the appendix, the other operation was the same as that in the CLP group, and the H2 groups at the particular moment after the operation of the corresponding concentration of hydrogen.The rats were killed after collecting blood at modeling for 24 h and the left ventricular was separated,the levels of serum cardiac troponin I (cTnI) ,B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP), myocardial tissue endothelin-1 (ET-1), nitric oxide (no), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha) and leukocyte mediated IL-6 (IL-6) expression of all groups were detected,hematoxylin and eosin (he) staining was given to stain the myocardial,then the myocardial tissue pathological integral calculation was observed.Result:Compared with SH group, the myocardial pathological scores and levels of cTnI,BNP, ET-1, TNF-α and IL-6 were significantly increased in CLP,1%H2 and 2%H2 groups,while the level of NO was significantly decreased in CLP,1%H2 and 2%H2 groups,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Compared with CLP group,the myocardial pathological scores and levels of cTnI,BNP, ET-1,TNF-α and IL-6 were significantly decreased in 1%H2 and 2%H2 groups,while the level of NO was significantly increased in 1%H2 and 2%H2 groups,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). But there were no significantly differences between 1%H2 and 2%H2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Inhalation of hydrogen can alleviate sepsis induced myocardial injury in rats, the mechanism may be related to improve myocardial microcirculation and inhibit inflammatory responses.关键词
