Abstract
ObjectiveTo analyze related factors of hand hygiene implementation and to explore effect of quality control circle activity on improving hand-washing compliance and comprehensive quality of circulating nurses in operating room.Methods12 circulating nurses of operating room in our hospital were selected as research objects and they were received nursing intervention by management method of quality control circle. Hand-washing compliance and comprehensive quality of nursing staff during different periods were compared.Results Total hand-washing implementation rates before intervention, 1 week after intervention and 2 weeks after intervention of circulating nurses were 72%, 80.0% and 73.3% respectively. Total hand-washing implementation rate of 1 week after intervention was significantly increased while total hand-washing implementation rate of weeks after intervention was the same as that before intervention. Average quality score before intervention, 1 week after intervention and 2 weeks after intervention of circulating nurses were (2.4±4.6), (68.0±6.4) and (83.6±8.5) respectively. The differences all had statistical significance(P<0.01).ConclusionQuality control circle activity can effectively improve comprehensive quality of circulating nurses in operating room and improve hand-washing compliance of them in short time. Lack of long-term supervision and management in quality control circle activity, hand-washing rate of circulating nurses will be seriously decreased when they hand over patients which directly causes hand-washing compliance to decrease again.关键词
