Abstract
ObjectiveTo contrast the effects of pterygium excision combined with grafting auto conjunctiva and pterygium excision combined with biological amniotic membrane transplantation in the treatment of pterygium. Methods72 patients with pterygium who were treated in our hospital from March 2011 to June 2014 in our hospital were allocated do the research group with 37 patients and the control group with 35 patients according to different treatment methods.The research group was treated with pterygium excision combined with grafting auto conjunctiva while the control group was treated with pterygium excision combined with biological amniotic membrane transplantation.Curative effect of appearances of the eyes,pterygium invading the limbus,corneal epithelial healing time and the recurrence rate after treatment of the two groups was observed and research results were analyzed and compared.ResultsAfter treatment,difference of curative effects of appearances of the eyes of patients in the research group had no statistical significance when compared with that of the control group (P>0.05).Pterygium invading the limbus,corneal epithelial healing time and the recurrence rate after treatment of patients in the research group were all significantly superior to those of the control group and differences had no statistical significance (P<0.05). After treatment,recurrence rate of patients in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group and the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion Grafting auto conjunctiva and biological amniotic membrane transplantation both have certain effect on improving appearances of eyes while pterygium excision combined with grafting auto conjunctiva has short healing time,low recurrence rate and more significant curative effects.关键词
