Abstract
Objective:To explore the value of transperineal prostate biopsy guided by transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) in diagno-sis of prostate cancer,and the incidence of complications. Methods:Transperineal prostate puncture biopsy was performed under transrectal guidance in 82 patients suspected of suffering from prostate cancer. Complications such as gross hematuria,fever,uri-nary irritation symptoms,perineum hematoma within 1 week after prostate biopsy were analyzed. Result:All the patients were completed the biopsy successfully. 38 patients were positive for cancer in 81 patients (39.5%). The incidence of postoperative complications within 1 week was 34.6%,with gross hematuria 30.9%,urinary irritation symptoms 21.0%,urinary retention 16.0%, fever 3.7%,and perineum hematoma 1.2%. The complications of 6~8 needles was 24.0%,which was significantly lower than 51.6% of more than 9 needles (P<0.05). Conclusions:Transperineal prostate puncture biopsy is an important way of early di-agnosis of prostate cancer because of the higher positive rate,fewer and lighter complications and easier operation.关键词
