摘要

Abstract

Objective:Using fMRI to explore the characteristics of brain function changes when electroacupuncture stimulate acupoints of Dachang Shu and Weizhong on large intestine. Methods:Electroacupuncture stimulate Volunteers' acupoints of Dachang Shu and Weizhong during magnetic resonance imaging scans. Block design was conducted by electroacupuncture 's on and off. We collected magnetic resonance data of brain function and FSL software was used to analyze the data. Results:Twenty healthy volunteers were included. Brain regions activated by electroacupuncture stimulation were temporal lobe lateral sulcus;lobus insularis;thalamus;supramarginal gyrus;prefrontal medial frontal gyrus. Brain regions inhabited were middle frontal gyrus;parahippocampal gyrus;cingulate cortex abdominal segment;parietal cortex. Conclusion:Electroacupuncture stimulate Vol-unteers' acupoints of Dachang Shu and Weizhong could activate and inhabit many brain regions. It could play a role associat-ed with neurohumoral mechanisms and provide experimental evidences for the central regulatory mechanism of acupuncture therapy.
