摘要

Abstract

This research, adopting the research methods of psychological linguistics, guided by the theories of attention in the field of cognitive psychology and second language acquisition, focuses on the influences of listening anxiety on the attention stability in the course of listening comprehension.The results show that foreign language listening anxiety and the attention stability have a inverted U-shaped relationship as presented in Yerkes-Dodsons Law, namely the appropriate anxiety level should be located in the middle area and too high or too low anxiety will affect the attention stability of the learner's cognitive activities.Finally, revealing suggestions are proposed to remit learners' listening anxiety and improve the quality of the learner's attention so as to improve the quality of foreign lan-guage listening comprehension.
