Abstract
Objective To discuss the treatment effect of external counterpulsation on chronic congestive heart failure. Methods 78 patients with chronic congestive heart failure treated in our hospital from May 2013 to August 2014 were selected and randomly divided into study group and control group.Patients in control group were treated by conventional drugs and patients in study group were treated by conventional drugs combined with external counterpulsation.The BNP,6 minutes walk distance,and LVEF values between two groups before and after treatment were observed and the adverse effects and clinical effects were compared. Results The BNP,6 minutes walk distance,and LVEF values be-tween two groups had no significant difference before treatment (P>0.05).After treatment,the 6 minutes walk distance and LVEF values of study group was significantly higher than that in control group respectively;The BNP in study group was evidently lower than that in control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The clinical overall re-sponse rate of study group was statistically significant higher than that of control group (P<0.05).The adverse effect rate after treatment of study group was slightly lower than that of control group,and the difference was not statistically signif-icant(P>0.05). Conclusion External counterpulsation has significant treatment effect on chronic congestive heart failure, which can effectively improve the left ventricular systolic function and is worthy to be promoted in clinical practice.关键词
