摘要

Abstract

A set of real-time motor vehicle monitoring system is designed according to the requirement of domestic personal users and industrial users on real-time vehicle status, driving habits and fault detection. Vehicle OBD terminal acquires fault codes, location, speed and other data based on OBDII&EOBD protocol, and establishes communication with a J2EE Web server using GPRS, where the data will be analyzed in order to make diagnosis on the fault state of the vehicle, and collect statistics on vehicle status, driving habit and conditions of the driver. The final result of vehicle detection and statis-tical analysis will be shown on the client Web page, or iOS/Android mobile handheld device. According to the error condi-tion of the vehicle, driver can be able to build connection with garages using this system. It will provide reference and data support for the driver's traffic safety and facilitation, as well as the area of traffic management and insurance.
