Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the anterior decompression and internal plate and screws fixation operation in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures with the improved operative incision. Methods Anteri-or decompression and internal plate and screws fixation operation with the improved operative incision were used in the treatment of 12 patients of thoracolumbar fractures;the improved operative incision was 10~12cm length. Results All patients were followed up with a period of 6~36 months. The compression of spinal cord were safely relieved for thoracolumbar fractures with spinal injuries. All patiens had good bony fusion and normal thoracolumbar curvature. No plate and screw broke, loosed and exodused. No back pain appeared. Conclusions Anterior decompression and internal fixation operation with the improved operative incision is an effective way in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures with less trauma and less bleeding, and early rehabilitation training can be conducted, and with a good cura-tive effect.关键词
