Effects of Dietary Fat Level on Growth Performance, Body Fatty acid Composition and the Expression of Intestinal Fatty Acid Binding Protein in Jejunum of Silver Foxes during Winter Fur-Growing Period
摘要
Abstract
This experiment was conducted to study the effects of dietary fat level on growth performance, body fatty acid composition and the expression of intestinal fatty acid binding protein ( I-FABP) in jejunum of silver foxes during winter fur-growing period. Fifty 145-day-old male silver foxes with a similar body weight were randomly divided into 5 groups with 10 replicates per group and 1 fox per replicate. Foxes in those 5 groups were fed the experimental diets contained 10%, 12%, 16%, 20%, and 24% lipid mixture ( soybean oil:chicken oil=1:1), and measured value of total fat level of those diets was 12.85% (group A), 14.71%( group B) , 18.72% ( group C) , 22.23% ( group D) and 26.11% ( group E) , respectively. The pre-test pe-riod lasted for 15 days and the trial period lasted for 75 days. The results showed as follows: 1 ) the average daily feed intake (ADFI) was significantly affected by dietary fat level (P<0.01), and the ADFI showed a decrease trend with the dietary fat level increasing; the average daily gain ( ADG) in groups B, C and D was significantly higher than that in groups A and E ( P<0.01);the feed/gain ( F/G) in group D was significantly lower than that in groups A, B and E (P<0.05). 2) With the dietary fat level increasing, the proportion of saturated fatty acids ( SFA) of intermuscular fat was increased, and the proportion of monounsaturated fatty acids ( MUFA) was decreased, while the proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids ( PUFA) had no significant change ( P>0.05) . 3) Dietary fat level had no significant effects on the proportion of SFA, MUFA and PUFA of subcutaneous fat of silver foxes ( P>0.05) . 4) The relative expression of I-FABP mRNA in jejunum was in-creased with the dietary fat level increasing, and it showed that group E was significantly higher than groups A, B and C ( P<0.05) . In conclusion, the silver foxes have the best growth performance when fed diets with 18.72% fat during winter fur-growing period;body fatty acid composition of silver foxes reflect the dietary fat-ty acid composition, the fatty acid composition of intermuscular fat is affected by dietary fat level, while the fatty acid composition of subcutaneous fat is stable;moreover, increasing dietary fat level can improve the ex-pression of I-FABP in jejunum of silver foxes during winter fur-growing period.关键词
