Abstract
Objective To systematically review the effect of extended nursing on self-care ability and quality of life of patients with colostomy. Methods Documents from Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, PubMed, VIP, CBM and WANFANG Data, which included randomized controlled trials (RCT) of extended nursing to patients with colostomy were included and then meta-analysis was performed by RevMan 5.2. Results Eight RCTs were involved into the Meta-analysis. The results of the Meta-analysis indicated that the patients receiving extended nursing had a better result of ESCA (Exercise of Self-care Agencyscale) [ SMD=1.67,95CI%=(1.16,2.18),P<0.00001] and EQRTC QLQ-C30 (The Europe Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer, Quality of Life Questionnaire-Core30)[SMD=1.11,95CI%=(0.84,1.38),P<0.00001]; there was a lower rate of complication in extended nursing group than that in routine nursing group [RR=0.13,95CI%=(0.03,0.24), P<0.00001]. Conclusion Extended nursing can improve the self-care ability and the quality of life of patients with colostomy.关键词
