Influence of heterogeneity of top management team on enterprise performance:study based on enterprises in different life cycle stages
摘要
Abstract
The listed companies in China before 2014 are selected as samples, and the influence of heterogeneity characteristics of top management team ( TMT) to enterprise performance in four life-cycle stages is studied through empirical analysis. The result shows that the heterogeneity of education levels has significant positive influence to enterprise performance in different life cycle stages, while the heterogeneities of gender, age, tenure, professional background and career background have differently significant influences to enterprise performance in different life cycle stages. According to it, to organize TMT with different characteristics is essential for enterprises in different life cycle stages, in order to improve enterprise performance.关键词
