Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the application of local anti-glaucoma drugs in the Second People's Hospital of Zhengzhou ( hereinafter referred to as "our hospital"),and then get preliminary information about the clinical application characteristics,drugs distributions and the development tendency of local anti-glaucoma drugs.METHODS:Through drug management system,the consumption amount,consumption sum of anti-glaucoma drugs were statistically collected.And comprehensively analysis was conducted on the defined daily dose ( DDD),defined daily dose system (DDDs),and daily drug cost(DDC).RESULTS:The sales amount,consumption sum of local anti-glaucoma drugs were in upward trend in our hospital,while timolol decreased,and travoprost and brimonidine both had a significant increase.DDDs of timolol and travoprost had changed significantly,and the others had no significant change.CONCLUSIONS:Timolol has been gradually replaced by carteolol in the process of clinical application;brinzolamide plays an important role in glaucoma medications;and the use rate of travoprost stepped up steadily yearly in clinical application.关键词
