Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the rationality of preventive application of proton pump inhibitors ( PPI ) injection for patients in surgical department of Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine ( hereinafter referred to as"our hospital"),and to provide reference for the rational drug use in clinic.METHODS:550 cases of medical records with PPI injection from department of gynecology,anorectal section,orthopedics,urinary surgery,cerebral surgery,general surgery,breast surgery and oncological surgery in Dec.2013 were randomly selected,the use frequency of PPI were 636,statistical analysis was conducted in terms of the usage and dosage,solvent,administration time,treatment course and the risk factors of stress ulcer,etc.RESULTS:The rational rate of application of PPI injection was 62.58%( 398/636 ),the dosage was 62.26%( 396/636 ),the solvent selection was 97.17%( 618/636 ),the administration time was 8.55%( 47/550 ),and the treatment course was 23.09%(127/550).Also,the ratio of patients with SU risk factors was 2.00%(11/550).CONCLUSIONS:It is necessary to enlarge the knowledge of PPI among doctors in surgical department,so as to avoid the excessive preventive medication,overdose and excessive time of administration.关键词
