Abstract
In order to investigate the effect of particle size of aluminite powder on the characteristic of underwater near field explosion of RDX-based aluminized explosives, the scanning photographs along the radial of the two charges, the one containing 30% ( mass fraction) micron aluminum and the other containing 20% ( mass fraction) micron aluminum and 10% ( mass fraction) submicron aluminum, were obtained by a high speed scanning camera. Photographs about under-water explosion of the two different aluminized explosives have been analyzed, and the shock wave curves and expand curves of detonation products were derived. Furthermore, the change rules of shock waves propagation velocity, shock front pres-sure and expansion of detonation products of the two aluminized explosives were investigated, and also the parameters of two aluminized explosives were compared. Results show that, after 10% ( mass fraction) micron aluminum is substituted by submicron aluminum, the initial shock waves pressure propagation velocity and shock front pressure of the aluminized explo-sive become smaller, and the energy attenuation rate is also decreased. When propagation distance of shock wave is about 40 mm, front pressures of the two explosives are relatively close . At the bubble expansion stage, the submicron aluminum has a high reactive characteristic, leading to a fast increase rate in the detonation products expansion because of its released energy.关键词
