摘要
Abstract
Nara Hsingde was the most outstanding lyrics writer in Qing dynasty. Many studies have been seen about the his lyrics since the modern time, including the study about the classiifcations of Nara’s lyrics, Nara’s poetic skills, the emotion and spirits of Nara’s lyrics and so on. However, it seems that the academic circle has neglected the translations and transmission of Nara’s lyrics in other languages. In recent years, the idea of “world literature” has seen its rise, and the internationalization of literature has also stepped faster than before. On this background, the transmission and studies of Chinese classical poems and lyrics have attracted the attention of domestic scholars. In fact, since the last century, many of Nara’s lyrics had already been translated into English, but the information about this ifeld is not well known for domestic academic circle. So, this paper tries to give a historical survey about the transmission of Nara’s lyrics in the English world in order to pave the way for the future studies.关键词
