Abstract

Constructivism is a learning theory developed after cognitivism emphasizing the main role of students. In order to make demonstration experiment play a bigger role in students' ability cultivation, this paper explores demonstration experiment teaching mode guided by constructivism theory. Constructivism offers theoretical basis and reference tactics to demonstration experiment teaching. Teachers are the helpers and promoters instead of the impart-ing of knowledge. The practical research finds that students' proactivity is improved by the task-driven approach and the creation of learning environment. Students are deepening their knowledge and self-constructing themselves through a series of activities such as cooperation, class discussion and course paper design. The practice achieves good teaching effects.
