摘要

Abstract

There is some common misunderstanding about college students'concept of happiness. First, some stu-dents' understanding about the meaning of happiness is far too one-sided and narrow. Second, the students tend to be individualistic in the pursuit of happiness. Third, on the way to happiness, some students fall into the dilemma of hedonism. As a positive psychology expert, Professor Martin Seligman proposes the PERMA model, which contributes to dispelling the misunderstanding about the concept of happiness. To establish a scientific understanding about the concept of happiness, the students should insist on a comprehensive understanding about the concept of happiness rather than one-sided view. Also, the students should pay attention to others' power rather than the individualism. And the students should make great effort for the lasting happiness rather than hedonism.
