摘要
Abstract
Natural resource booms requires the economy to move the means of production out of the non-resource tradable sector especially the manufacturing into natural resource sector,which leads to a contraction in manufacturing.This is the Dutch disease that was originally used to describe the negative effect of natural gas discoveries on Dutch in the 1960s.After a review of the theoretic background and the basic theoretic model of Dutch disease,the paper summarizes and discusses the recent developments of its theoretic extensions and empirical research,then describes the classic Dutch disease model and its working mechanism.In accordance with development of model assumption and methodology,the different mathematic models and testing econometrics methods are introduced and compared.Furthermore,the paper expands the meaning of the Dutch disease,describes the performance and features of the new Dutch disease effects from other factors of production,such as land resource,tourism resource,financial capital and labor force,then discusses the relationship between traditional Dutch disease,new Dutch disease and comparative advantages traps.关键词
