Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of dacryocystorhinostomy under nasal endoscope combined with ex-pansive sponge as packing material on treating chronic dacryocystitis. Methods From January 2014 to April 2015,60 patients with chronic dacryocystitis admitted into our hospital were evenly divided into group A (traditional external dacryocystorhinostomy) and group B (dacryocystorhinostomy under nasal endoscope combined with expansive sponge as packing material) by a random number table.The therapeutic effect and hemostatic and analgesic effect by two kinds of packing material between two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate was 63.3% in group A,while in group B,the rate was 93.3%(P<0.05).In group B,83.3% of the patients whose amount of bleeding was less than 20 ml, which was more than that in group A (P<0.05).The number of patients whose amount of bleeding between 50 ml to 80 ml in group A was less than that in group A.On filling in or withdrawing out of packing materials in group B,the pain de-grees was (2.06±0.26) points and (2.28±0.23) points respectively,while group A,it was (6.15±0.55) points and (6.65±0.56) points respectively.Pain degrees in group B was milder than in group A (P<0.05). Conclusion Dacryocystorhinostomy under nasal endoscope combined with expansive sponge as packing material on treating chronic dacryocystitis has ad-vantages of small wound,little amount of bleeding,and definite effect.关键词
