Abstract

Objective:To analyze the relationship among interpersonal diathesis ,stress and subjective well -being , and further test the moderated effect of interpersonal diathesis .Methods :Employing accidental sampling method ,403 civil servants were assessed by Interpersonal Diathesis Scale of Chinese Adults (IDSCA) ,Civil Servants’ Stress Scale (CSSS) ,and Chinese Happiness Inventory(CHI) ,using correlation analysis and structural equal modeling to analyze . Results :Male civil servants performed more gregariousness than female(F=8 2.7 ,P=0 0.04) ,while female felt more empathy than male(F=5 9.7 ,P=0 0.15) .There was a significant difference among civil servants of various adminis-trative levels in empathy(F=3 8.3 ,P=0 0.10) ,friendliness(F=7 4.1 ,P< 0 0.01) ,and interpersonal diathesis(F=3 8.3 ,P=0 0.10 ) .Further LSD analysis indicated that these personality traits mentioned above of government em-ployees in high administrative level were significantly higher than that in low administrative level S.cores in altruism (F=5 8.9 ,P=0 0.16) ,empathy(F=6 7.2 ,P=0 0.10) ,friendliness(F=11 4.9 ,P=0 0.01)and interpersonal diathesis (F=8 0.7 ,P=0 0.05)of those in the leading positions were also significantly higher than those in non -leading posi-tions I.nterpersonal diathesis was negatively correlated with stress (r=-0 2.6~-0 1.8 ,P<0 0.1) ,and positively corre-lated to subject well -being(r=0 2.1~0 3.7 ,P<0 0.1) .The figure also demonstrated significantly negative correla-tions between stress and subjective well -being(r=-0 4.1~-0 2.4 ,P<0 0.1) S.tructural equation modeling indicated that the model fitted the data well(χ2/df=2 3.4 ,GFI=0 9.0 ,PGFI=0 7.1 ,NFI=0 9.1 ,CFI=0 9.4 ,TLI=0 9.3 ,RM-SEA=0 0.6) I.t pointed out that interpersonal diathesis (γ=-0 1.2 ,P<0 0.5)had a remarkable moderated effect on re-lationship between stress and happiness .Conclusion:Interpersonal diathesis plays as a protective role in the status of subjective well-being of government employees with high stress level .
