Parking Problem Around 4S Stores in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area

Abstract
To explore the related technologies and policies of parking and optimize the environment of regional transportation, the parking situation around the 4S stores in Beijing economic-technological de-velopment area was analyzed based on the survey of the number of parking facilities and utilization rate. In view of the diversity of their parking demand, the internal parking demand and external demand were analyzed combined with current situation of public parking, curb parking lots, parking management poli-cies and public transportation problem. Eventually, parking countermeasures were proposed by ways of taking into account both dynamic traffic and static traffic and coordinating the relationship between sup-ply and demand. The countermeasures include the following content:enlarging the parking supply by es-tablishing cubic parking lots and delimiting curb parking to meet the internal parking demand; imple-menting shared parking, regularizing curb parking and promoting regional information technology to meet the external demand;optimizing parking management policies, strengthening the public transporta-tion development, increasing the illegal parking penalties and awareness of legal parking to guide the travelers. Various measures should cooperate with each other in order to ease the parking pressure around the 4S stores.关键词
