摘要

Abstract

In this paper a finite element model for the heavy duty automotive aluminum radiator is established and a structural strength analysis of radiator is conducted with ABAQUS.The distri-bution of stress and strain of heat pipes is showed in different installations,such as horizontal and vertical,and the critical positions of the cracking are found,and the reasons behind such effects are also analyzed. Simulation results are compared with the real cases,and it is found that the results are the same,thus proving the finite element simu-lation results to be correct.Some corresponding measures about how to reduce or eliminate crack-ing are also put forward.
