摘要

Abstract

This paper aimed at defining the key factors that influence coalbed methane production rate of Guqiao coal field through analyzing geological conditions and the status of five CBM test wells development. And the re-search results show that flow rate is dominated by two kinds of factors: geology and engineering. Among them, geological factors that lead to low gas rate mainly include low permeability, well developed microporem low elas-ticity modulus and high Poisson’s ratio. And the engineering factors are the direction of crustal stress, reservoir parameters of fracturing scale, low fracturing fluid flowback rate and so on. Besides, severe heterogeneity and commingled production with great distance between layers make it even harder to maintain a high gas production rate in Guqian coal field.
