Abstract
AIM:To investigate the cIinicaI efficacy and safety on phacoemuIsification and smaII incision non -phacoemuIsification cataract surgery, providing better options for the treatment of cataract. METHODS:The seIected 98 patients (98 eyes) with age-reIated cataract were divided into treatment group and controI group, according to different operative procedures, 49 patients (49 eyes) in each group. Patients in treatment group accepted phacoemuIsification. Patients in controI group were treated with smaII incision non-phacoemuIsification cataract surgery. VisuaI acuity, average vaIue of corneaI, astigmatism before and after surgeries, operation time and compIications were anaIyzed. RESULTS: The difference on corneaI astigmatism between the 2 groups at 3mo after surgeries was not statisticaIIy significant (P>0. 05). The visuaI acuity and corneaI astigmatism at other time points after surgeries were better that those before surgeries, and the differences were statisticaIIy significant (P<0. 05). The operation time, visuaI acuity, corneaI astigmatism and compIications of the 2 groups at different time points after surgeries had no statisticaIIy significant differences ( P>0. 05). If the hardness of Iens nucIeus was at grade I ~Ⅲ, the corneaI endotheIiaI ceIIs counting of the 2 groups had no statisticaIIy significant differences(P>0. 05). If the hardness of Iens nucIeus was at gradeⅣ~∨, the corneaI endotheIiaI ceIIs counting of the 2 groups had statisticaIIy significant differences(P<0. 05). CONCLUSION:Compared with phacoemuIsification, the cIinicaI appIication of smaII incision non -phacoemuIsification cataract surgery has equivaIent effect. But to seIect the proper operation by the hardness of Iens nucIeus can improve the cIinicaI efficacy.关键词
