Abstract
The stage-discharge relation curve of the tidal reach of Yangtze River could not be determined directly. The tradi-tional method is insufficient as its monitoring frequency is too low to calculate the discharge, so an on-line flow measurement system of ADCP is established to solve the above problems. A multiple-element linear regression model between the ADCP real-time index velocities and the mean velocity at a cross-section is built up and solved, so the regression coefficients are ob-tained. According to the correspondent data at Nanjing hydrologic experiment station from November, 2010 to December, 2011, the regression coefficients of the index velocities were obtained through the above method and the discharge was calculated by combining with the water level and the river bed elevations. The comparison with the monitoring discharge shows that the presen-ted model has a better fitting effect and higher computational accuracy, which could be widely applied to the real-time telemetry and processing of the discharge.关键词
