Empirical Analysis of Factors Influencing Sheep -Raising Households or Farms’Intention to Join the Goat Milk Industry Chain Based on 575 Questionnaires from 17 Cities of Shandong Province

Abstract
Goat milk industry chain can effectively drive the overall development of goat milk industry and related industries,which is also an effective way to promote the standardized,normalized and industrial development of milk goat breeding.Based on 575 questionnaires from 17 cities of Shandong Province,the fac-tors influencing sheep -raising households or farms’intention to join the goat milk industry chain were ana-lyzed using the multiple ordinal Logit regression model.The results showed that the goat -raising period and the willingness to expand raising scale had significant positive influences on sheep -raising households or farms’intention to join the goat milk industry chain.Six factors including education level,raising scale,spe-cialization degree,signing sale contracts or not,government supporting the construction of goat milk industry organization or not,and cognition of the advantages of joining goat milk industry chain had different levels of significant influences on sheep -raising households or farms’intention to join the goat milk industry chain. The other factors had no significant influences.关键词
