Abstract

The morphological index and physiological index of 8 ornamental Chinese cabbage varieties were analyzed and compared under the condition of substrate cultivation,and the comprehensive evaluation model of ornamental Chinese cabbage was established to select ornamental and edible good varieties for family garden cul-tivation.The results showed that:(1)In morphological index morphology,‘Ziyu’was compact and slender,other varieties were relatively loose and short;(2)In physiological index,there were large differences in the 8 Chinese cabbage varieties.The anthocyanin content of ‘Ziyoucai’was significantly higher than other varieties,which was up to 1.07 mg?g;the nitrate nitrogen content of ‘Naibaicai’was beyond the edible standard(1.00 mg?g);(3) The comprehensive evaluation model of ornamental Chinese cabbage which was set up by the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)showed that the leaves of purple cabbage showed different degrees of purple and certain anti-roll, and the ornamental value was significantly higher than those of green leaf cabbages.Among them,the ornamental level of ‘Ziyoucai ’ and ‘Ziyi ’ reached grade 1,with strong ornamental property;nutritional quality of‘Ziyoucai’and ‘Suzhouqing’reached grade 1,with high nutritional quality;taking the two aspects together,‘Ziyoucai’scored the highest with 1.864 points,showing that the superiority of the variety was the strongest and it was suitable for family cultivation.
