Abstract
Jilin-Hunchun dedicated passenger railway is located in the most beautiful mountain area in Northeast of China. The preliminary study focuses on the choice of a dedicated passenger line or a mixed passenger and freight line. The dedicated passenger line is determined based on the analysis of traffic amount, capacity adaptability, traffic organization, engineering investment and other aspects. In order to reflect its competitiveness with highway and aviation, engineering cost and adjacent network adaptability are analyzed and the target speed is set to be 250 km/h. The selection of the route should address region planning, environmental protection, and geological, engineering and economic factors. Passenger station layout should be rationally coordinated with planning and existing facilities. Engineering design should focus on anti-freezing measures, especially special engineering design of subgrade and tunnel to ensure normal operation of the railway.关键词
