摘要

Abstract

In view of the problems during manufacturing and later maintenance period, the inability to exchange the walking wheels between the single and double wheel component and the severe abrasion for longtime employment, which are existed in the design of the excircle ring plying-up the side of the railway track in the traditional track inspection instrument with T-shaped walking wheel, this paper proposes a new type of improved walking wheel mechanism with three totally same standard walking wheels. One positioned wheel device is also designed to replace the excircle ring of the walking wheel in the double wheel component for this new mechanism. Both of the simplicity of the manufacturing and maintenance in later period and the wear-resisting property of the walking wheels have been notably improved. Finally, the rationality of the structural design is verified via the ANSYS Workbench finite element analysis ( FEA) of the central axis inside of the positioned wheel device.
