摘要

Abstract

Where there is no designed gallery in the existing subway station holes have to be opened to allow passengers to transfer from the existing subway station to the newly built subway station, and the internal forces and deformation of the existing station have to be predicted after holes are opened. The existing single-pillar and double-pillar stations are analyzed with finite element analysis software where holes are opened in different places in the platform floor. The results show that single-pillar and double-pillar stations differ greatly in internal forces and deformation after holes are opened in different places in the platform floor, and different reinforce measures have to be taken accordingly. It is recommended that holes should be opened between existing floor pillars and bottom girders and pillars should be protected carefully.
