Abstract
Objective:To explore the application effect of quality control circle to reduce the rate of unplanned extubation in elderly patients with peripheral venous indwelling needle.Methods:We set up the quality control circle,and established "reducing the rate of unplanned extubation in elderly patients with peripheral venous indwelling needle" as the theme of activities,and we investigated the status,analyzed the important reasons,and formulated measures and implemented it based on the PDCA process and principle of "5W1H".Results:The rate of unplanned extubation in elderly patients with peripheral venous indwelling needle was decreased from 43.8% to 19.5% after the activity.Conclusion:Scientific management methods were applied to clinical practice by quality control circle,it improved the practical problems in the work,reduced the non expected extubation rate of elderly patients with peripheral venous indwelling needle,improved the quality of care and patient satisfaction,and deepened the connotation of quality nursing.关键词
