Abstract
High-quality in surgery is a surgical therapy offered to a patient for a specific condition, which cost-effectively improves the quality of life and is superior or equal to alternative nonsurgical therapies. High-quality surgery is achieved via constant quality reform. Specialization, centralization, deployment of standard clinical pathway, modern department culture and perioperative mortality and morbidity tracing program are all related to quality improvement. Continuous development of surgery should focus on more careful and oriented management instead of old fashioned style.关键词
