摘要

Abstract

5-bromo- salicylicacid was used to synthesize 5-bromo-methyl salicylate,which further reacted with hydrazine hydrate to obtain 5-bromosalicylaldehyde hydrazide. The 5-bromosalicylaldehyde hydrazine then reacted with potassium thiocyanate to form 5-bromosalicylaldehydethiosemicarbazides, which finally reacted with ethyl bromoacetate proceededcatalytic to afford N'-( 2-hydroxy-5-bromobenzoylamino )-2-imino-4-thiazolidinone. The structure of the final compound was characterized by IR,element analysis,1 H NMR,and 13 C NMR. The compound also showed good anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity.
