摘要

Abstract

Objective To monitor brain temperature changes in different brain regions in the patients with cerebral ischemic stroke by magnetic resonance spectroscopy ( MRS ) . Method Fifteen patients with recent cerebral infarction and fifteen healthy volunteers were enrolled. Conventional T2-weighted imaging (T2WI),fluid-attenuated inversion recovery ( FLAIR) and MRS scans were performed at the first week and the eighth week. The chemical shifts of N-acety-L-asparticaca acid in the stroke focus and brain stem were determined. The brain temperatures were calculated according to T=37+100(CSNAA-2. 035),and the changes were analyzed. Results The temperature in ischemic area at the first week was higher than that at the eighth week (P<0. 05). Compared with the healthy group,the temperature in ischemic area of the stroke group at the first week was much higher(P<0. 05). Conclusion MRS can provide information from molecular level for the progress of brain temperature changes and the evaluation of treatment.
